Internet Uses & Tools : How to Change Proxy Settings in Internet Explorer

Hi my name is Todd Amazeen, I’ve been an internet
business consultant for fifteen years. I’m going to show you how to change proxy settings
in Internet Explorer. First open Internet Explorer by double clicking on the icon on
your desk top. Now select tools from the menu bar, scroll down and select internet options.
Select the connections tab from the row of tabs across the top, and scroll down and in
the local area network LAN settings box click on LAN settings. Check the box next to user
proxy server for your LAN in the proxy server at the bottom of the screen, and type in the
address for the proxy server. In my example I’m just going to use a dummy address. In
most cases you’ll also need to enter the port, now both of these pieces of information will
have been given to you by your network or system administrator. When you’re done click
okay, and click okay again. You’ve just learned how to change proxy settings in Internet Explorer.
I’m Todd Amazeen.
