How to Never Be Left Without the Internet Connection Tutorial The Best Possible Way

Hello and, Welcome to my Tutorial. The other day I left my PC On and went for
a quick coffee but, by the time I got back I discovered than my internet connection was
gone. We all know that, there could be many reasons
for that, a faulty cable, a hot Modem and so on and so forth however, most of the time
is the Internet Service Provider’s fault and there is nothing you can really do to fix
it. You may try to waste your time trying to call
them waiting for someone to finally answer to you but, what if it happens during the
evening or at night when nobody’s working? Well, do not worry, if you or someone close
to you have a Smart Mobile Phone, I will tell you how we can use it, not only to provide
your PC with internet connection but also to provide it for 10 more devices in your
household. Bear with me and, I promise that you will
never be left without the internet connection and, that this will be the best 5 minutes
you spent …ever. My name is Nicola Scanni. With a degree in Multimedia and a passion
for technology, I have a tendency to pass along my knowledge in a very simple way. In this tutorial, I will teach you how to
connect to your Android with your PC in order to use the Android’s data to connect to the
Internet. This process is known as Tethering. You can tether your Android to your computer
by using a USB connection or a wireless hotspot connection. If this sounds abstract or difficult to you,
do not despair, the process is very simple, follow these steps in these two easy methods
and you’ll be able to do it. If you are able to save pictures to your PC
from your Mobile, I assume you already have a program and or driver on your PC that recognizes
your Smart Mobile Phone. However, chances are that you’ll be able to
install it once you make the following USB connection: Method One – Connecting Using a USB Cable: – First, attach your Android to your computer. Use the charging cable and a USB port on your
computer to do this. ATTENTION: If you see a Pop Up window, do
not press Charge Only or use the device as a Media Storage, doing so will hide the phone
from the computer. – Then, open your Android’s Settings. Tap the gear- or slider-shaped app icon in
your Android’s App Drawer. You can also swipe down the top of the screen
and then tap the gear that’s in the pull-down menu. – Now, Tap More. It’s below the Wireless & Networks heading
that’s near the top of the page. On a Samsung tablet or phone like this one,
tap Connections instead. – Tap Tethering & Hotspot. You’ll find this in the middle of the page. On a Samsung Android, tap Tethering and Mobile
Hotspot instead. – Tap the white USB Tethering switch. It will turn blue. Your computer should now have a wired (LAN)
connection to the Internet through your Android’s data. As you can see your PC is now able to browse
the internet without any problem. However, what if you have your other half
or, your son or brother in the house that are not able to use the Internet in their
PC or Laptop? Let us see how we can help them as well, by
using a method that can connect up to 10 devices in your household. With the following method, we will use your
Mobile Phone’s modem. It will provide a WI-FI signal that other
devices can connect to by using an ID and password just like you normally do when connecting
to any other WI-FI. Method Two – Connecting Using a Hotspot: – First open your Android’s Settings. Tap the gear- or slider-shaped app icon in
your Android’s App Drawer. You can also swipe down the top of the screen
and then tap the gear that’s in the pull-down menu. – Tap More. It’s below the “Wireless & networks” heading
that’s near the top of the page. On a Samsung tablet or phone like this one,
tap Connections instead. – Tap Tethering & Hotspot. You’ll find this in the middle of the page. On a Samsung Android, tap Tethering and Mobile
Hotspot instead. – Tap Set up Wi-Fi Hotspot. It’s in the middle of the page. On a Samsung, tap Mobile Hotspot, tap in the
top-right corner, and tap Configure Mobile Hotspot. – Set up your Android’s Hotspot. Fill in the following fields:
Network Name – The name that your Android will display in your computer’s wireless network
area. Security – Select a WPA2 option from this
menu. Password – The password that you’ll use to
log in and that you can read on your screen. Tap the Back Button. It’s in the top-left corner of the screen
in most of the mobile’s phone. – Tap the white Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot switch. It will turn blue. Your Android should now be outputting a Wi-Fi
signal. On a Samsung Galaxy, tap the OFF switch to
turn it to ON. – Now you can tell the other person that needs
the Internet connection to look for the computer’s Wi-Fi settings. Click the Wi-Fi icon, which resembles a set
of signal bars, in the lower-right corner of the screen. A pop-up window will appear. – Click your Android’s network name. It should be in the pop-up window. – Enter the password. Type in the password that you created during
the setup, then click Connect or press Enter. – Wait for the network to connect. Once your computer connects to the network,
they’ll be able to browse the Internet as well. This is it. Just keep in mind that you may incur in additional
charges if you exceed your data usage by your mobile service provider and that if not connected
via USB these methods will drain your battery power supply rapidly. I really hope you enjoyed my tutorial. If you liked it do not forget to subscribe
