May 12, 2019 Reply Mary Sanchez This kind of reminds me of Mexican conchas, which are sweet buns that are also covered with a disc of mixed sugar and butter. Choux is puff, but conchas are yeast raised. I think the choux is more elegant, but either is delightful with a cup of good coffee. May 27, 2019 Reply goatgirl61 Perhaps a custard ? I said I want it now John but apparently you were not listening!!! I said NOW, NOW, NOWWWW😡🥵👨🏻🍳 , please, pretty pretty please.I would go to your house and pick them up so you don’t have to ship them. Please Me John, I am Disabled and I love baking but I don’t do much of it. The wolves, I mean neighbors are not real friendly most of the time so I am moving out of here. Maybe I could move in with your family, have a garage apartment or a place to park a motor home. This way, I could be your I could be your sous chef and you could teach me all your baking secrets. Where do you live, I guess that is important too. I think you might be in Texas or Arizona as guesses. Am I right? I am hoping to move to Portugal because it is so cheap to live there. Medical is pretty much free even for ExPats . Now that’s so cool. If you were from a different country and visiting here in the states, you would probably die while waiting for authorization to be seen and just be evaluated, yes my goodness, dear, that shark did take off your whole leg and thigh, but we will keep it for you and wrap it up with spices that we got from the Colonel at KFC, He came in just before he passed away and gave us the recipe for Extra legs and thighs and the breast meat that we have just lying around, now isn’t that nice! OMG. Their quality of life is not work till you die, it is work then come home and enjoy life and families. They have got it down right. The Chinese, I believe do the same thing. It wouldn’t work here with Americans because family doesn’t seem to matter like it used to. My family used to be very close but I am a widow now for 6 years and when my daughter and her two precious little boys moved out after living with me for 3 and 1/2 years, she stole my husbands URN ⚱️ with his Ashes. She stole a lot of stuff from me but the police won’t do anything, they said I have to prove that she has got my stuff and that I didn’t gift them to her. And I have to do that in Small Claims Court! How do I figure the Value of My Deceased Husbands Ashes? They had no answer for me and just said to take her to court., anyway, if you need a Sous chef or someone to separate eggs or an assistant, just give me a call, I am available and I love baking and don’t mind washing dishes, hehehe🤥😬🤗 Best Regards to you and your misses, Jill August 13, 2019 Reply Laura Chatfield Lovely! I've made the cream puffs and eclairs, but never the crackled top. Just a tip though. If you want your chocolate bottom to turn solid quickly, you can set the pan over something cold. (like another sheet pan with ice in it or freezer packs.) That way you can get the chocolate bottom to turn solid more quickly but it shouldn't affect the crackled top.
